James P. Miller, 70, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Saturday December 17, 2016.
James was born in Perrysburg, Ohio to the late George and Sallie (Manners) Miller. He married Jody West on March 30, 1996 in Bowling Green, Ohio and she survives in Bowling Green. Also surviving are his children: James (Jennifer) Miller of Detroit , Michigan and Amanda (Jesh) St. John of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren: Grahame, Oliver, Gabriel and Jaxson; brothers: Timothy Miller of Columbus, Ohio and Garry Miller of Texas. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Rex and Ron Miller and a sister: Carole Butts.
James was employed with Turner Vault Company and enjoyed fishing on the Maumee River and farming with his father. In his spare time, James enjoyed western movies and working out in the yard and his shed. James was a gentleman who would help anyone in a time of need and could fix anything.
Visitation for James will be on Thursday December 22, 2016 from 1:00 PM until the time of his Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., P.O Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be gifted in James’ honor to the Wood County Humane Society.
