Judy Kay Jennings, 76, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019. She was born February 12, 1943 in Marion, Ohio to Don and Helen (Thetford) Ross. She married Dale M. Jennings on March 10, 1962 and he preceded her in death January 12, 2008.
Judy worked as a secretary for the BGSU College of Technology for 25 years. She was a member of the Ladies Elks Lodge #818. She enjoyed playing bunco, gardening, shopping and having lunch with friends. Her greatest joy in life came from the quality time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Tina (Mike) Hylant of Toledo, Ohio, Lisa Rood of Bowling Green, Ohio and Clayton (Brigitte) Jennings of Fort Wayne, Indiana, grandchildren Ashley (Tony) Lake, Matthew (Emily) Hylant, Allison Hylant, Andrew Hylant, Nicholas Hylant, Lauren Jennings, Courtney Jennings and Hannah Jennings and great-grandchildren Avery Martin, Jackson Martin and Gavin Lake. She is also survived by her partner Lester Ford, step-mother Ruth Mohn of Findlay, Ohio, sister Joan Morrow of Arizona and half-sister Marijo Kryger of Carey, Ohio.
Judy’s funeral service will be held on Saturday February 16, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Tony Lake will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
