Thelma J Lintner

On Friday, October 21, 2016 Thelma Joan (Clark) Lintner won the prize for which God called her heavenward in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14) in the comfort of her home. Thelma, age 64, of Pemberville, OH passed away at her residence with her husband by her side. She was born on November 27, 1951 in Bryan, OH to Melvin and Mildred (Campbell) Clark. Thelma graduated in 1969 from Stryker High School and on November 25, 1972 she married John F. Lintner in Bryan, OH. In addition to being a wife and mother having raised two children she worked at Bowling Green State University for 20 years as an administrative assistant retiring in 2009. She was a member of the Bowling Green Christian Missionary Alliance Church where her love of playing the piano gave way to her ministry of music. At the church she would serve as the church pianist for over 20 years and choir director. In addition to teaching piano out of her home for 35 years she also was the piano accompaniment in numerous community events from theatre to weddings and everything in between. Known as the “lady with a smile always on her face” she will be remembered most as a wife, mother, grandmother, wonderful cook and gracious hostess. Thelma enjoyed attending the BGSU women’s basketball games in her free time. However, it will be her love of the piano and the brilliance in which she played that will remain in the hearts of those she loved.
