Latta to meet with public on Americans for Prosperity bus tour stop in BG on Monday

U.S. Rep. Bob Latta during June 6 hearing.

The public is invited to attend an event Monday, Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring Congressman Bob Latta, R-Bowling Green, and the Americans for Prosperity organization.

Americans for Prosperity-Ohio will be joined by Latta for its “Prosperity is Possible” Bus Tour at Mr. Spots, 206. N. Main St., in Bowling Green, to bring attention to economic issues affecting Ohioans, including jobs, inflation, and energy production.

Mr. Spots, the almost 40-year-old restaurant, will be rolling back its prices to what they were in the 1980s, setting up a conversation around Reaganomics and Bidenomics.

The Prosperity is Possible campaign made several stops in July across Ohio in Akron, Youngstown, Columbus, Belmont, Steubenville, and St. Clairsville. Now, the bus tour will be making a second round of stops to speak with voters and highlight solutions to rectify current economic challenges that have resulted from “reckless spending and failed policies in Washington.”

The bus tour will be stopping in Bowling Green, Marion, Zanesville, Columbus, Butler County, Blue Ash, and Cincinnati throughout the week.
