Larry Bostwick, age 85, of Bowling Green, OH, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at The Bowling Green Manor. He was born on July 1, 1935 in his childhood home. He attended St. John The Baptist Catholic School then Macomber Vocational High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1952 during the Korean War. He married Eileen J. Shallo on June 9, 1962 in Rossford Ohio and raised two daughters. While in the Army, Larry received his GED, however, when he got out he attended Waite High School and got his formal diploma. He worked at The Ohio Bell Telephone Company which would later become AT&T as a phone repair man. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed muskrat trapping, hunting rabbits, pheasants and fishing on any waters in Michigan. He also loved to bake various breads for friends, but what he loved most was his family.
Larry is survived by his wife Eileen and daughters: Diana (Randy) Stone of Whitehouse TX and Laura (Jamie) Moore of Pemberville, OH. granddaughters: Brianna, Jenna and Kalee Moore, grandsons: Dalton and Carson Stone, sister: Joanne (Clayton) Konz. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first grandson: Tyler James Moore.
There will be a memorial mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 17, 2021 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Bowling Green, OH. Fr. Thomas McQuillen Officiating.
