Library offers computer skills training

From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Wood County District Public Library is offering a series of classes to help people develop their confidence and skills with computers.  The courses begin with the very basics of using a mouse and keyboard and progress through how to use the library’s 3D printer.

All classes take place at the Bowling Green location, 251 N. Main Street.

“We want to help people get more comfortable with using computers since so much of work, business, and keeping in touch with family depends on computers,” said Michele Raine, Assistant Director at WCDPL. “These classes are very informal and our staff are supportive of people of all ages and skill levels during the learning process.”

Patrons are welcome to register for the courses that are of interest to them and do not need to commit to the entire series of classes.

The classes will all begin at 10 a.m. and registration is required.  To register for the classes or for more information, please call the Information Desk at 419-352-5050.
