Wood County residents are being encouraged to stay alert for storm warnings during this volatile weather season.
“This is why we want people to kind of watch for storm warnings,” Wood County Emergency Management Agency Director Jeff Klein said Wednesday afternoon after two tornado warnings were issued in the county. “Days like this, things pop up with little or no warning.”
