Lou Ellen Duty, 85, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Tuesday December 6, 2016.
Lou was born on September 28, 1931 in Wayne, Ohio to the late Walter and Gladys (Bressler) Ostrander. She married Laurel Duty on June 4, 1951 in Haskins, Ohio and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2007. Lou is survived by sons, Rodney Duty of Bowling Green, Ohio, James (Bonnie) Duty of Weston, Ohio, and Roy (Linda) Duty of Los Lunas, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Heather, Jimmy and Hailey; four step-grandchildren,; eleven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons: Michael and Danny Duty; siblings: Orvetta, Lois, Alta, Patricia, Margaret and Ronald.
Lou was a member of the Cloverdale United Methodist Church, where she was very active. She enjoyed gardening, doing word searches and puzzles, playing bingo, and traveling around the United States.
Visitation for Lou will be on Monday December 12, 2016 from 1:00 PM until the time of her funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Burial will be private.
