Margaret Peterson, 95, of Weston, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 27, 2016. She was born on September 9, 1921 in Bowling Green, Ohio to William and Ida (Roach) Geahlen. She married James Shedron and later married Earl Peterson and they both preceded her in death.
She was a member of the American Legion and Treasurer of the Bowling Green Senior Citizens Club. She drove school bus for Otsego Schools for 22 ½ years. Margaret enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her daughters Mary Kelly of Winfield, Alabama, Pat (Terry) Halliwill of Rudolph, Ohio and Candy Shedron of Grand Rapids, Ohio son Bill (Bernie) Shedron of Weston, Ohio, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her son Albert Shedron, sister Florence Bankey and brothers Lawerance Geahlen, Harold Geahlen and Gerold Geahlen.
Visitation will be held on Monday October 31, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Pastor Bob Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green.
