Marilyn L. Berres, 83, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away February 20, 2018. She was born July 4, 1934 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Charles and Ardinelle (Zimmerman) Meeker.
She married Robert C. Berres June 5, 1954 and he preceded her in death November 1, 2015.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening, cooking and shopping. Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy Berres of Bowling Green, Ohio, Karen (Tom) Brogan of Luckey,Ohio and Patti (Bob) Meisner of Bluffton, South Carolina, grandchildren David, Travis, Chad, Tyler, Patrick, Hollie and Matt, great-grandchildren Cole, Isabella, Sophia, Luke, Piper, Caleb, Ava and Wyatt and sisters Sharon (Chet) Reznik of Toledo, Ohio and Virginia Saam of Pennsylvania.
Along with her husband Robert, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister Shirley Nichols.
Marilyn’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Rev. Ernie Unholz will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Wood County Humane Society.
