Markus Antonio Rodriguez, 49, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away October 26, 2021. He was born January 11, 1972. He married Karie Dukes on July 15, 2004 and she survives in Bowling Green.
He was a 1991 graduate of Libby High School. He was working currently working as a Tech II at First Solar in Walbridge. Markus was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Markus lived his life to the fullest. He was always the life of the party, wore his compassion on his sleeve, was not afraid of an adventure and was a “hold my beer” kind of guy. He enjoyed dancing and spending time with his friends and family. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his step-children, grandchildren and god children- all of whom he considered his own.
Along with his wife Karie, Markus is survived by his step-son Kevin Brotherton, step-daughter Hannah (Thomas) Russell, father Cecelio Hernandez, grandchildren Madilynn, Jason, Eliana, Zane and Savannah, brother Arturo (Ruth) Hernandez, sisters Maria Rodriguez, Irma Rodriguez and Mirtala Rodriguez and god-children Dontae, Kaiden, George and Cruz.
He was preceded in death by his mother Enriqueta Rodriguez.
His funeral service will be held on Friday October 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Pastor Andrea Curry will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
