Mary Eleanor Wineland, age 92, of Pemberville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Otterbein Portage Valley Senior Lifestyle Community, Pemberville. She was born on October 5, 1924 in Blacklick, OH to Samuel and Mary (Palmer) Morrison. In 1946 she graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Institutional Management. On March 26, 1948 she married Robert Wineland in Blacklick, OH and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2012. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife,mother and grandmother. Her memberships included: Farm Bureau, Grange and a life long member of the United Methodist Church. Eleanor was an avid OSU Fan.
Eleanor is survived by her son: Lynn (Rev. Betty) Wineland of Bowling Green and granddaughter: Katie (Beth Ann) Kuntz-Wineland of Delaware, OH. She was preceded in death by her: husband: Robert and brothers: Charles, Edward and John Morrison.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Interment will be Private in Weaver Cemetery, Bloomdale, OH with Pastor Peter Johnston officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to: Otterbein Portage Valley-Activities Fund or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
