Mary L. Blackwell, 82, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away September 16, 2019. She was born July 16, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Esther (Gnuse) Herpolsheimer. She married Robert Blackwell Sr. in 1957 and he survives.
Mary was a beloved grandmother, who loved getting her hair done, picnicking at the park and pistachios. We will hold her fondly in our hearts and request that in lieu of flowers, you celebrate her life with some Chinese food from China Village (one of Mary’s lifelong favorites).
Along with her husband of 62 years, Bob, Mary is survived by her daughters Lynn (John) Deep of Albany, New York and Jill (Dan) Peters of Astoria, Oregon. She is also survived by her grandchildren Madeline, Joe, Matthew, Chloe, Lindsey, Olivia and Lillian and great-grandchildren Rory, Sawyer, River, Zoe, Ryan and Jason.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert Blackwell Jr.
Services for Mary will be private for the family with burial taking place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
