NAMI to host ‘Drive Out the Stigma’ golf outing

NAMI Wood County will be hosting its Drive Out The Stigma Golf Outing on Friday, June 3, at Bowling Green Country Club.

Organized by NAMI Wood County, the Annual Golf Outing is an event to raise funds for NAMI Wood County as well as awareness of the stigma on mental illness while creating a fun event that everyone in the community can participate in. 

The golf outing will include two rounds of golf on the 9-hole course followed by a taco bar lunch. The format will be scrambles, mulligans will be available as well as a cash bar and raffle baskets. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. 

There are also sponsorship opportunities for companies and organizations starting at $50 and includes signage at the hole with information on your company.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wood County is a leading self-help organization offering free events, educational classes, support groups, and other programs that address mental health for the Wood County community.
