Nancy Bressler

Nancy Bressler, 81 of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Sunday May 7, 2023. She was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to Leslie and Elizabeth (Wardner) Shufelt on March 3, 1942. She married Raymond Bressler September 7, 1963 and he preceded her in death.

Nancy worked as a bank teller at Key Bank in Bowling Green, Ohio until her retirement. She was a member of the Grand Rapids American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching NFL games and recently won a fantasy football tournament. Nancy loved photography and making photo albums-collecting over 70 photo albums throughout her life. Nancy was inducted into the BG Baseball Hall of Fame, for her dedication to volunteering at Carter Park. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She never missed the opportunity to attend their sporting events and activities.

Nancy is survived by her son Tim (Katrina) Bressler of Bowling Green, Ohio, grandchildren Mark (Angel) Bressler, Meghan (Justin) Herman, Madison (Carter) Bressler, great-grandchildren Claire, Quinn, Jordyn and Jocelyn and sister Rosie Vollmar of Maumee, Ohio.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Raymond, son Todd Bressler, her brothers Charles Shufelt and Eugene Shufelt and sisters Neva Hall and Elma Zelman.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday May 12, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service at 12:00 p.m.
