The public is invited to join the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department on Thursday, Sept. 19, as the parks welcome Laura Kearns, ODNR Division of Wildlife, as she updates residents on the health and habits of the populations of hawks, bald eagles, and Peregrine falcons which call Bowling Green home.

Kearns will provide an in depth presentation on these animals, and this is an opportunity to ask the state expert any questions regarding them.  There is no doubt that the populations of these birds of prey have rebounded since the mid 1900s and that makes them easier to view and enjoy as they continue their successful growth in numbers.

The event takes place at the Simpson Building, Simpson Garden Park, 1291 Conneaut Ave., Bowling Green, and will begin at 7 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:30. This program is for all audiences and registration is not required. For questions regarding the program, call the Rotary Nature Center at 419.353.0301.
