The Bowling Green post of the Ohio State Patrol received reports from motorists Thursday at 4:40 p.m., of an object lying in the roadway on northbound Interstate 75 near the Wooster Street exit in Bowling Green.
Troopers were enroute to the area when a call came in of a vehicle involved in a crash at the same location.
Upon arriving on the scene, troopers located a Mercedes-Benz with a large pipe through its windshield. The pipe was lying in the road and had been kicked up by another vehicle.
The Mercedes-Benz was driven by Jennifer Alford, age 42, of Sylvania. Alford was uninjured and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
