From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Wood County District Public Library will be celebrating poetry and those who love to write it with a series of workshops this summer. The first workshop begins Monday, June 3 at 7 pm on the second floor of the library.
“Whether you have tried to write poetry before or are a beginner, we are looking forward to writing poetry and thinking about things in new ways,” said Julie Webb, the workshop leader. “Using humor and fun we will write imaginatively about every day life and experiences,” she said.
Webb is a poet from Northern California who is an MFA candidate at BGSU. She is also the Managing Editor of Mid-American Review.
“I love poetry and I love bringing new people to poetry,” said Webb.
For questions about the workshops or to register, please call the library’s Information Desk at 419-352-5050. The workshops will be held on Monday evenings on June 3, June 17, and July 1, 2019.
