Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is hosting a presentation by Wood County Health District epidemiologist Connor Rittwage and health educator Jennifer Campos on Zika Virus. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at the Simpson Building Meeting Room at 1291 Conneaut Ave. in Bowling Green.
The presentation will include an overview of Zika Virus:
- how it spreads
- where it is found
- symptoms and outcomes of Zika
- how it is transmitted
- how it is diagnosed
- how it is treated
- how it can be prevented
- The role of Wood County Health District in Zika surveillance and education.
