Realtors in Bowling Green say community needs to invest new school facilities

Dear Bowling Green Residents and School Board,

It’s our privilege to help connect home buyers and sellers in our community. As we look to the future, we’re writing to support an investment in new facilities for the Bowling Green school district. Strong schools are a key economic engine for small communities like Bowling Green, and local homeowners will enjoy an increase in property values once an investment is made.

We’ve always known that young families are drawn to communities with strong schools, and recent statistics confirm what we’ve seen in practice. Study after study confirms that home buyers pay a premium for homes located in high-quality school districts with modern facilities. For example, a survey of nearly 1,000 prospective home buyers on realtor.com showed that 91% said school boundaries were important in their search.

Our investment in new facilities for the Bowling Green school district will pay off. As members of the Bowling Green community, we understand the many factors that influence a person’s decision to support an investment in new school facilities. As realtors, we know that our community cannot wait any longer.

Sincerely,

Jessica Avina
