Rubando urges voters to vote for change

Bob Latta has voted against the Protecting Americans with Preexisting Conditions Act of 2019. He has accepted over $300,000 from the pharmaceutical industry, including from opioid manufacturers such as Purdue Pharma and Cardinal Health Inc. Latta has taken more than $462,000 from the oil and gas industry while sitting on the Energy and Commerce Committee in Washington. He has a lifetime environmental score of 3% from the League of Conservation Voters. Finally, Bob Latta has no plan for our economic recovery after this crisis.

Healthcare, the Opioid Crisis, the environment, and our economic recovery are all on the ballot this election. If we continue to elect career politicians to represent us, they will continue to choose party and PACs over the needs of their constituents.

My name is Nick Rubando, and I decided to run for Congress because we need real change. I am running to ensure every American has quality, affordable healthcare, regardless of a preexisting condition. I believe we need to get big money out of our political system. I have a plan to create 25 million new, green jobs around the nation, so Ohioans have universal broadband internet, prevailing wages, new roads, modernized schools, and an American energy system.

We are facing a historic moment, and old solutions won’t fit modern problems. This November we have the opportunity to make a different choice. I am asking for your vote because together we can create that change in Washington.
