Safe Communities urges drivers to take the pledge not to drive distracted

From SAFE COMMUNITIES OF WOOD COUNTY

Safe Communities has announced that there have been three fatal crashes in Wood County to date, compared to two last year at this time.

April is National Distracted Driving Month in Ohio and the Nation.  It’s a very simple message that we so often overlook.  Make the promise to yourself and your community today.

“I pledge to never text, post, stream, or engage in any form of digital distraction behind the wheel. I take this pledge to save lives, prevent tragic crashes, and make the roads safe for everyone.

“I pledge to step out from behind my screen and Live More every day to change our culture of distracted living and digital dependence.”
