Salmon farming focus of hybrid agribusiness forum

“Fish, Farms and AquaBounty Technologies – A Revolution in Salmon Farming Technology” will be the topic of a hybrid CIFT Agribusiness Forum, Thursday, Oct. 21, from 8:30-9:30 p.m. 

AquaBounty Technologies, Inc. is a land-based aquaculture company utilizing technology to enhance productivity and sustainability. Recently, the company announced Pioneer as the location for its first large-scale farm for its proprietary genetically engineered salmon.

President and CEO, Sylvia Wulf, will discuss opportunities in Northwest Ohio with their investment of over $200 million for their first large-scale commercial facility and introduce AquaBounty Technologies to Ohio.

Space for in-person attendance is limited to the first 15 registers. Complimentary coffee provided for all in-person attendees. The event will be held at the Northwest Ohio Cooperative Kitchen, 13737 Middleton Pike, Bowling Green.
