Scott M. Jameson III, 82, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Sunday January 14, 2018. He was born February 3, 1935 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Scott Jameson II and Lucille (Warren) Jameson. He married Barbara Mason in 1970 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Scott served our country in the United States Army. While in Germany, he got the opportunity to play Basketball for the Army. When back in the United States he got to play against the Harlem Globetrotters. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Kentucky State University. He worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Bristol-Myers Pfizer. Scott helped initiate a bridge program for graduate students from Kentucky State University to BGSU. He loved traveling with his wife, taking trips all around the world and taking numerous cruises.
Along with his wife Barbara, he is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Denise Kornegay of Bowling Green, Ohio, grandchildren Sharlie Denise James of Washington D.C. and Jeffrey Leslie of Washington D.C., great-granddaughter Charlese James, brother David (Kathy) Jameson of Louisville, Kentucky, sisters Mary L. Bacon of Frankfort, Kentucky and Norma Jean Clay of Frankfort, Kentucky, sister-in-law Avis Jameson, nieces Latasha Randolph, Latanya Winters, Adrienne Glenn and Norma Clay and nephews Cuttie Bacon IV, Cutia Brown, Damion Jameson, Adrian Jameson, David L. Clay, Harry Clay III and Cress Clay.
He was preceded in death by his identical twin brother Max Warren Jameson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, 408 West Wooster St. in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner Hospital for Children.
