A second victim has died in a shooting shortly after midnight this morning (Sept. 17) in Bowling Green.

The deceased victims were identified as Zhichun Huang, 36, and Bing Luan Lin, 40, both of Bowling Green. The suspect in custody is Xiaosong Wang, 62, of Bowling Green.

At approximately 12:08 a.m., the Bowling Green Police Division and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls about gunshots coming from a home at 528 Monroe Court in Bowling Green. That location is a residential cul-de-sac west of Conneaut Elementary School.

Officers responded to the home and discovered multiple victims, including one who was found to be deceased. Later this morning, the second victim died, according to BGPD Lt. Adam Skaff.

A third victim was shot, but the wound appears to not be life-threatening, Skaff said.

All the victims and the suspect are male and are from Bowling Green, Skaff said.

Wang has been charged with two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault. He is being held at Wood County Jail.

Wang, who reportedly shot the victims with a handgun, was taken into custody without resistance. Because of a language barrier, a translator is being used to aid in the investigation.

More information will be reported as it becomes available.
