A string of seven car break-ins on the East Side of the city are being investigated by the Bowling Green Police Division, according to Chief Tony Hetrick.
The break-ins reported to police on Thursday include incidents at:
- 220 S. Mercer Road, where a window was broken out of the vehicle.
- 1474 Scott Hamilton Ave., where a wallet and other items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
- 321 S. Mercer Road, where a window was smashed out and a purse was reported stolen.
- 847 Second St., where an unlocked vehicle was entered and a wireless speaker, $2 in change and a duffel bag was taken.
- 321 S. Mercer Road, where a window was smashed and a duffel bag and shoes were stolen.
- 318 Campbell Hill Road, where a window was smashed out but nothing was stolen.
- 855 Second St., where a window was smashed but nothing was taken.
