Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn reports that a scam email purporting to be from him is circulating. Those who receive it should not click on the link in the email.
The message reads: “sorry for not sending it earlier,” and then has the link.
Recipients can hover over the from addressand it shows that it is not from the sheriff. The sheriff’s email address is: mwasylyshyn@co.wood.oh.us.

Wasylyshyn urged residents to make sure their virus protection software is up to date.
