Look closely to see the golden, bowed heads of hundreds of snow burdened daffodils. Daily for three weeks the Simpson Gardens have increased the daffodil and hyacinth count of blooms. Visitors have rejoiced in the cool weather preserving the flowers “like a florists refrigerator.” Friday’s unseasonable snowfall overdid the refrigeration effect.
