The Wood County Park District is renovating the flooring inside the entire Thompson Stone Hall at Otsego Park. This is a big project that will yield lasting improvements to the building. Due to the nature of the project, the building will be closed to the public starting Wednesday, Jan. 29 continuing through Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020. The overlook area, restrooms, and rental hall will all be closed during this time.
The park and playgrounds will remain open for public enjoyment. The Wood County Park District parks and nature preserves are open every day of the year from 8 a.m. until 30 minutes past sunset.
The Thompson Stone Hall at Otsego Park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The building, which overlooks the Maumee River, is a popular location for weddings and special events.
