Summit Terrace Apartments in Bowling Green held a holiday window decorating contest with its residents on Dec. 9.  Twenty-eight percent of the residents participated in the contest with the winner receiving a $200 Amazon gift card.

“We had an amazing response from our residents and have some really amazing and creative windows. It made it very difficult for our judges,” said Chris Ostrowski, of Summit Terrace.

The competition was tight and Councilwoman Sandy Rowland and Councilman Greg Robinette were the independent judges. The winner had a “Peanuts” theme to their decorations.

“This being our first year having the competition, we didn’t know what to expect.  Next year, with there being so many great windows, we plan on having multiple prizes. It really does put you in the holiday spirit when you drive through,” Ostrowski said.
