Tammy Metz Starr will be one of the modertors a support group for those who have Parkinson’s disease, Parkinsonism, and other related diseases as well as care partners.
Starr has been exercising and dancing with individuals with this condition for many years. The group in Perrysburg that she led disbanded beause of the pandemic.
First meeting is set for May 4, 5:45-7 p.m. at the Wood County Committee On Aging‘s senior center, 140 South Grove St. and will continue thereafter the first Thursday of each month.
Starr wrote: “We hope to grow the group into a wellspring of connection, collaboration, and knowledge!”
