There are many issues that face our country. We see them play out daily in the news and especially on social media. While we all have our different views and maybe a different understanding of what those issues are and how we may be able to solve them, there seems to be one issue that most everyone can agree with. That is the issue of term limits being necessary for our elected officials.
This is not an issue that favors either side of the aisle, but rather an issue that favors the American people. There is a current proposal for term limits that a couple of Senators are bringing to the table.
It may seem like a long shot given the current atmosphere of politics, but the more we the people reach out to our current elected officials and show our support for this issue, the more the pressure is on our elected officials to do what is right by the people they represent. It is a huge ask of our elected officials to put aside their pride and vote in favor of this issue, but it is necessary.
As I said before, this is not an issue that favors either side of the aisle, rather an issue that will hopefully benefit our future as a Nation.
