Three catalytic converters stolen from BG non-profit

Three more catalytic converters were reported stolen in Bowling Green – bringing the total to six being stolen over last weekend.

Bowling Green Police responded Monday morning to Work Leads to Independence at 991 S. Main St., where three catalytic converters were cut off three vans parked in front of the non-profit agency over the weekend.

Police officers checked with businesses in the general area on South Main Street to see if any had video cameras that might show the Work Leads to Independence parking lot.

Also over the past weekend, Bowling Green Police responded to reports of catalytic converters being stolen from three other vehicles. Those thefts occurred on Second Street, Fourth Street, and East Napoleon Road.
