Toledo Rep brings ‘A Christmas Carol’ to 10th Street stage

From TOLEDO REPERTOIRE THEATRE

The Toledo Repertoire Theatre presents “A Christmas Carol”, adopted from the Charles Dickens novella by Betsy Lackey and Paul Causman.  Performances begin Thursday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 5 and again on Dec. 9-12. Tickets are available for both in person viewing and live streaming at toledorep.org.

A Toledo tradition for more than 35 years and back on the 10th Street stage, “A Christmas Carol” is the timeless tale of redemption as Ebenezer Scrooge is transformed by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future from a miserly old curmudgeon into a man who embodies the true meaning of Christmas. Lavish costumes, spectacular sets, and a musical score rich with carols of the era, this is The Rep’s annual holiday gift to Toledo.

Ebenezer Scrooge is portrayed by Paul Causman. The show is directed by Betsy Lackey, music direction by Luke D. Rosen and choreography by Jessyca Neumann. The music is an original score by Dr. David Jex.
