Victoria Adams

Vicky Alice Adams (Brent), 60, of Bowling Green, OH passed away at 1:16 PM on Nov 8, 2018 surrounded by her family at the OSU James Cancer Hospital in Columbus Ohio. Vicky was born on July 9, 1958 and graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1976 and Bowling Green State University, with a BA in International Studies in 1980. Vicky is survived by her husband, Randall Adams (Bowling Green, OH), daughters, Dr. Karishma Anik (NY, NY), Natasha Anik (St. Petersburg, FL), Ameera Anik (San Francisco, CA), and Savanah Anik (Washington D.C.), her first grandchild, Fotini Plakogiannis (NY, NY), mother, Frances Brent (Bowling Green, OH), and brother, Dr. Morgan T. Brent (Cottage Grove, OR).

She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Morgan M. Brent, and sister, Elizabeth Helen Stockman (Brent).

Vicky was formerly an assistant manager of Elder Beerman, and most recently, an entrepreneur of many variations. She married Randall Adams on October 31, 2008. Vicky was originally diagnosed with breast cancer 19 years ago, and after extensive surgeries and treatment, she fought and beat it. Despite taking all precautions possible, she was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer in 2014, which eventually took her life. Due to a genetic mutation, this was the same disease that Vicky’s sister fell victim to in 2007.

Vicky will be remembered as being an avid animal lover, passionate Democrat, incredibly artistic, and a hard-headed woman. Vicky’s warrior spirit inspired many and her legacy will live on.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 12:00 at Deck-Hanneman in Bowling Green. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wood County Humane Society and/or the OSU James Cancer Hospital in her name.

Hanneman Family Funeral Homes is honored to serve Vicky’s family and encourage those to share a fond memory or condolence by visiting www. hannemanfh.com.
