Spring is well on its way, and it is during this time of re-energizing the Village Marketplace is providing a unique shopping experience to consumers looking to shake off winter.

The Village Marketplace is an opportunity for consumers to shop from a variety of local small businesses, many of which specialize in handcrafted and artisan items. Events from the past year have included jewelry, candles, wreaths, fresh baked goods, pasta, decorative signs, wood-crafted décor, blown glass art, as well as personal care items such as bath bombs, soaps, or body scrubs. We are also pleased to feature representatives from well-known and quality companies such as Tastefully Simple, SeneGence (LipSense), ColorStreet, and more. This carefully curated blend of entrepreneurs is designed to bring a variety of products to local
shoppers.

The first Village Marketplace of 2020 is taking place March 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Bowling Green. Additional dates at this location in Bowling Green are May 30, July 11, and Aug. 15. A special event in Perrysburg will be held April 25, at the Waterford at Levis Commons. This event allows seniors at the facility the opportunity shop with vendors as well as the community. All events are free and open to the
public.

The Village Marketplace will also be seeking vendors for these events. If a local small business would like to be a part of any of the Village Marketplace events, they are encouraged to request an application by emailing villagemarketplaces@gmail.com.

The Village Marketplace is dedicated to providing a family-friendly environment that pairs shoppers with a fun and unique shopping experience featuring local small businesses.
