From THE VOICES OF HARMONY
The Voices of Harmony barbershop chorus has issued an open invitation for male singers of all ages to attend and enjoy an evening of singing and fellowship. Families are welcome.
The guest night will be held Tuesday, Aug. 31 from 7-10 p.m. at the Bowling Green Alliance Church, 1161 Napoleon Road, Bowling Green.
This gives singers a chance to join the chorus on the risers.
The Voices of Harmony is a men’s acapella chorus primarily singing in the barbershop style. The chorus performs year-round in the Northwest Ohio area at its own shows as well as for community events.
As a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the chorus also competes at regional and now international conventions – including the next one at Charlotte, North Carolina, in summer 2022.
The event is open to all experience levels of those who sing or used to sing.
This guest night will be a casual, welcoming environment where singers will:
- Meet and mingle with the chorus while enjoying complimentary refreshments
- Learn and sing a tag with the chorus (don’t know what that is? Come and find out.)
- See a rehearsal in action
- Be entertained with performances from one of our very own Barbershop Quartets and the
chorus.
- Learn and sing a song with the chorus.
