Wood County has 57 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases

Wood County has 57 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases, according to the daily update from the Wood County Health Department on Saturday, April 11.

Three county residents with the virus have died.

As of Friday, 16 of those with the virus reside in long-term care facilities in the county.

A total of 23 are hospitalized. Wood County Hospital has two patients who tested positive for COVID-19. 

Those with the virus range in age from 6 to 96, with the median age of 59. Of those, 34 are female, 23 are male.

No additional information about the 49 Wood County residents will be provided by the health department in order to protect their privacy.
