Wood County is under a “Marginal” chance for severe weather Wednesday June 3. This event is expected to occur over several time periods: 6am-10am and 2pm-10pm. The potential hazards for this event are damaging winds up to 60 mph, hail, heavy rain and isolated tornados are possible.
Currently, Wood County on the northern edge between “Marginal” and “Slight” which are potentially more intense storms. There are other models having all of Wood County at the elevated “Slight” risk as well. Any shift north in this storm front will increase the potential for severe weather.
