PERRYSBURG, Ohio—Zoar Lutheran Church announces the Winter/Spring Kitchen of Hope Meal calendar.
The Kitchen of Hope, which has served hot, home-cooked dinners for more than 15 years, invites the local community and members of Zoar to attend. The outreach is Zoar’s response to Jesus’ call to care for our neighbors by providing nutritious free dinners, served with generosity and love.
The winter/spring dinners will be on the fourth Friday of each month: Feb. 23, March 22, April 26 and May 24. Reservations are necessary no later than the Monday before the meal by calling the church office at 419-874-4346.
Dinners include a main entree, vegetable, starch, salad and fresh-baked dessert. There is no charge for the meal; however, donations can be made to the Kitchen of Hope ministry or in honor/memory of a loved one.
Join in fellowship at the church at 314 E. Indiana Ave., and stay after the meal to visit and play games. The event is the church’s gift of a warm meal to offer guests hope and joy no matter what season of life they are in.
