Dorothy V. Naugle, 86, of Portage, Ohio passed away Monday March 20, 2017.
Dorothy was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Marion and Virgie (Atchison) McCullough. She married the Rev. George Naugle on March 17, 1948 and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2005. Dorothy is survived by her sons: George (Susan) Naugle Jr. of Van Buren, Ernnie (Marcia) Naugle of Portage, Roy (Carol) Naugle of Weston and Rex (Linda) Naugle of Bowling Green; her foster daughter Carmen Diaz of Findlay; sister: Norma (Norman) Smith of Rudolph and a brother Donald (Ruth) McCullough of Richmond, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Pauline Naugle; five brothers and two sisters.
Dorothy formerly attended Pentecostal Church in Findlay and attended the New Horizon Pentecostal Church in Bowling Green. Dorothy was faithfully active in the churches in which her husband Rev. Naugle served. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting where she made bedspreads as gifts for everyone. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed doing word searches.
Visitation for Dorothy will be on Thursday March 23, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, where her funeral service will be held on Friday March 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Wood County Memory Gardens.
