The truth is, it’s not the first time Dr. Amy Acton has ever stood up to a cruel giant.
A leader’s job is to protect people. At a very young age, Amy protected her younger brother from the worst abuses from her birth mother’s husband. She never gave up trying. At 12, she and her brother finally reached safe harbor and received services to recover.
She is a survivor. She is strong, principled, and wise.
I believe in Amy Acton. She will protect us as she did during COVID. I believe her when she says she won’t stop until Ohio’s corruption crisis is gone, public schools are funded, and people’s lives are better off.
