From THE LAKESIDE THEATRE COMPANY
The Lakeside Theatre Company is casting its 2023 season.
The Toledo-based company will hold auditions for “I Remember Mama” (female version) by John Van Druten and “The Shop Around the Corner” by Samson Raphaelson (based on a play by Miklos Laszlo) that will be presented as its holiday radio play.
The company will see both Equity and non-Equity actors, and is looking for diverse types. Casting is all inclusive.

In addition, the company states: “If we have seen your work before, we would love to see you again.”
Those auditioning should prepare a 1-2 minute monologue. They will also be asked to read sides that will be provided at the audition. Visit the company’s website for cast breakdown for “I Remember Mama” and “The

Auditions will be:
Saturday, May 6, noon to 4 p.m.
Sunday May, noon to 4 p.m.
Monday, May 8 , 6-8:30 p.m.

Auditions will be I the Maumee Indoor Theatre, 601 Conant Street, Maumee.
Production dates are “I Remember Mama” Sept. 14 – 24 and “The Shop Around the Corner” Dec 7 -10.
Both productions will be at the Maumee Indoor Theatre.
Rehearsals will be very flexible to accommodate actor’s schedules up until production week.
