City of BG offers Community Action Plan micro-grants to organizations

From CITY OF BOWLING GREEN

In an effort to advance the Community Action Plan (CAP), the City of Bowling Green has allocated funds for micro-grants ranging from $500 to $5,000. Funds distributed support organizations and neighborhood groups in activities that promote citizen engagement, enhance neighborhood beautification, improve safety, encourage economic development, and/or address neighborhood needs and aspirations.

Individuals or organizations are encouraged to submit an application that meets the following conditions: advances the principles/ideals of the CAP, is well planned, demonstrates that funds will be used effectively and efficiently, where possible, show collaboration with others to reduce costs, and explains how receipt of the grant will impact the project.

Applications will be accepted from March 23 to April 13, at 4:30 p.m. Candidates chosen for funding will be notified by May 1.

The grant application and more information about the CAP are available at https://gis.bgohio.org/CommunityDevelopment/cd_microgrants_add.php?page=add&.
