Citizens can expect impacts to their drive or walk while the city of Bowling Green crews conduct sidewalk and forestry work. It is encouraged to note that all closure dates are subject to change, depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work.
The sidewalk on Summit Street will be closed from East Wooster to East Clough Streets from 6 a.m. – 4 p.m., July 27-30. During this time, parking will be restricted as crews work to replace the sidewalk. Parking enforcement will occur only during work hours. Residents may return to street parking after the workday ends, provided that vehicles are moved again before work begins in the morning.
South Church Street will be closed in both directions between Clough Street and City Parking Lot 3 from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. July 28-30. Urban forestry crews will be removing three trees. Access will be maintained to the parking lot. The trees will be replaced in due time.
