Toledo Opera and Toledo Spirits will host the event “Get Into the Spirit of Opera,” tomorrow, Oct. 1, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Toledo Spirits Company, 1301 North Summit St., Toledo.
To celebrate the upcoming performances of “Aida,” the evening will feature signature cocktails and mocktails, crafted by the Toledo Spirits Company, a performance by members of the “Aida” cast, a chance to meet cast/creatives, and a drawing for two tickets to opening night of “Aida” on Friday, Oct. 16, along with a $75 gift certificate for Toledo Spirits/Bellwether.
“Partnerships like this are one of the ways we make opera feel at home in the community,” said Rachael Cammarn, director of marketing & communications at Toledo Opera. “Get Into the Spirit of Opera is an opportunity to meet the artists, hear a little of the music, learn more about “Aida,” and get a taste of what’s in store – all in a relaxed setting where you can simply come as you are. Whether you’re a longtime opera fan or have never been to an opera before, this is a fun, easy way to get to know “Aida” and the people bringing it to life.”
