Two people are dead after a suspected murder-suicide in Pemberville this morning.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office and Pemberville Police Department responded to 310 Perry St., Pemberville, at 9:15 a.m., to a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officials found two deceased people inside the residence, both of whom appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds.
According to the sheriff’s office, it appears as though it was a murder-suicide, though the investigation is ongoing.
The name of the deceased victim is Cierra McCrory, 17, who lived in the residence. The name of the other deceased will not be released until next of kin are notified.
