BG police arrest 4 while investigating break-ins of 54 vehicles this morning

This morning, at approximately 3:49 a.m., Bowling Green police officers responded to 505 Lehman Ave. to take a report of a vehicle that was broken into.  Officers arrived on scene and observed that the vehicle window had been broken out.  

During the course of their investigation, officers canvassed other areas within the city and located 53 other vehicles in the areas of 480 Lehman, 300 Lehman, 325 S. Summit, 995 S. Main and 1000 block of Fairview that had windows broken out. 

Officers were given a description of the suspects’ vehicle by witnesses.  Officers located the suspects leaving the area of 1070 Fairview.

Shywoun Lanier, 22, from Toledo, Leonard Richardson Jr., 18, from Toledo, Davion Tyler, 18, from Toledo and Kallin Gary, 19, from Toledo, were arrested for Criminal Damaging, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Tools and Receiving Stolen Property.

Bowling Green Police Division detectives are conducting an investigation.
