Not In Our Town Bowling Green, a collaborative effort between Bowling Green State University and the City of Bowling Green, will be celebrating its sixth anniversary on April 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wood County District Public Library in the meeting room.

People can attend anytime between those time frames.  At 5:30 p.m., city of Bowling Green Mayor Richard Edwards and BGSU President Rodney Rogers will provide remarks.

Please attend to interact with your friends and neighbors, reflect on past events and initiatives that NIOT had supported and share your thoughts about NIOT’s future endeavors.  Cake and ice cream will be served to celebrate.

NIOT was created, in 2013, to champion diversity and advance the mission of guiding and inspiring people and the community to work together to stop hate and build safe, inclusive environments for all. This movement exists to address acts of intolerance and discrimination.

Volunteers are needed to help with set-up and clean-up, so contact Emily at edunipace@woodlance.us if you can help.  The support is greatly appreciated.
