Bowling Green Police Division has reported that Jimmy David Cole, 29, of Bowling Green – a person of interest in the death of a BG woman – has been arrested in another jurisdiction.
BGPD Lt. Adam Skaff said Cole has not been charged in the suspicious death of a 23-year-old Alicia Rosa. Law enforcement is waiting for the cause of death to be issued by the coroner’s office.
On Thursday (March 30) at approximately 4:18 p.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about an unresponsive female at an apartment at 326 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
The Bowling Green Police Division responded to the location and found Alicia Rosa, of Bowling Green, deceased. In addition to BGPD detectives, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was also contacted to assist in the investigation.
According to Skaff, Rosa and Cole had been in a relationship, but it is unknown if that was ongoing.
Cole was taken into custody Friday, around 3:15 p.m., on an outstanding warrant in Fostoria. He was transported to the Wood County Justice Center.
The Bowling Green Police Division thanked the Ohio Adult Parole Authority, Toledo Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Task Force, and Fostoria Police for their assistance in locating Cole. Additionally, BGPD thanked the public for the numerous tips received in relation to his whereabouts.
